Introduction and application of drilling machine
Blasting drills are mainly used for drilling holes for blasting operations in various engineering and mining fields.
Working principle
Impact drilling principle: using the high-frequency impact force generated by the impactor, the drill bit repeatedly impacts the rock surface, breaks the rock into small pieces, and then discharges the rock chips out of the hole through the slag discharge system. This method is suitable for drilling operations in hard rocks, with a faster drilling speed, but greater wear on the drill bit and drill rod.
Rotary drilling principle: the drill bit is driven to rotate by a rotating mechanism, and the cutting edge of the drill bit is used to cut a circular hole on the rock surface. This method is suitable for drilling operations in softer rocks or soil layers, with higher drilling accuracy, but lower drilling efficiency in hard rocks.
Compound drilling principle: combining the advantages of impact and rotary drilling, it has the ability to impact and crush rocks, and can improve drilling efficiency and accuracy through rotary cutting. This method has good adaptability under various geological conditions and is currently a more advanced drilling technology.
Application areas
Mining: used for blast hole drilling operations in open-pit mines or underground mines to provide blast holes for subsequent blasting mining and improve the mining efficiency of ore.
Construction: In building foundation engineering, it is used for construction processes such as bored piles, anchor support, and underground continuous walls to improve the bearing capacity and stability of the foundation.
Geological exploration: Obtain samples of underground rocks and soil through drilling, conduct geological analysis and mineral resource exploration, and provide a basis for geological research and mineral development.
Water conservancy projects: used in dam foundation treatment, tunnel excavation, water well drilling and other construction projects in water conservancy and hydropower projects to ensure the safety and stable operation of the project.
Road and bridge engineering: In the construction of roads and bridges, it is used for bored pile foundations, slope protection, rock crushing and other construction links to improve the quality and durability of the project.
