LICH

Backhoe Loader for Sale

Compare 4 LICH backhoe loader models: 1.0–1.2 m³ loader buckets, 2,500 kg lift, up to 4,085 mm digging depth, powershift and four-wheel-steer options.

A backhoe loader does two jobs with one machine and one operator: the front bucket loads and carries, and the rear backhoe digs trenches and foundations. Every model in the range lifts 2,500 kg with the loader and carries a 0.3 m³ backhoe bucket, so the choice comes down to driveline, steering and loader bucket size.

The table compares the published figures for each backhoe loader. Open any model for the full specification sheet and photos, or send your job details for a quotation.

Four setups compared

  • LC-B30: 7,640 kg, 1.2 m³ loader bucket, 190° backhoe swing and 4,082 mm digging depth. A two-forward, two-reverse powershift and 22 km/h top speed suit work on one site with short moves.
  • LC-B388: 8,200 kg with a 1.0 m³ loader bucket, 4,085 mm digging depth and a 75 kW Yuchai engine driving through a YJ290 torque converter with two forward and two reverse gears.
  • LC-B388T: the same 8,200 kg frame on a Carraro 4WD driveline, with a four-forward, four-reverse countershaft powershift, Carraro axles and 38 km/h travel speed. Choose it when the machine drives between sites on the road.
  • LC-B388H: four-wheel and crab steering on equal 16.9-28 tyres, 450 mm ground clearance and a 3,050 mm loader dump height. It suits soft or uneven ground and loading high-sided trucks.

Backhoe loader or two separate machines?

On jobs that switch between digging a trench, backfilling and moving material, one backhoe loader does the work of a small excavator plus a wheel loader, and it drives itself between nearby sites. For a full day of digging only, an excavator is the faster tool; for loading only, a wheel loader carries more per cycle.

Our backhoe vs excavator guide compares the two in detail.
